‘Always Welcome: Interpreting Your Church Building’ Conference 30th April 2015 in Manchester

‘Always Welcome: Interpreting Your Church Building’ Conference 30th April 2015 in Manchester

Explaining your church to visitors is one of the biggest challenges for any parish but it also offers a wonderful opportunity to introduce a new audience to the Gospel, to Christian history and to the Church. This event will help you to improve the experience of visitors to your church – be they local residents, pilgrims or tourists. It will inspire you to try new approaches to your church guide, website and volunteers.

We are all looking for effective ways to give visitors to our church buildings an enjoyable and engaging time. The Cathedral and Church Buildings Division’s upcoming conference ‘Always Welcome: Interpreting Your Church Building’ will help you do just that. The conference will take place on 30 April at Manchester Cathedral and speakers include the Bishop of Worcester, Clive Aslet and Neil Pugmire.

The event is for all those involved with welcoming visitors to church and cathedral buildings. Please do forward this email to anyone who might be interested in attending this conference.

The fee is £40 (inc. VAT) and includes lunch. More information and booking here
