The Heritage Lottery Fund has several funding programmes available for projects that aim to help people to learn about, access or engage with part of their local, regional or national heritage. Currently these are:
The Sharing Heritage programme offers grants between £3,000 and £10,000 which are for small scale heritage projects.
The Young Roots programme offers grants between £10,000 to £50,000 for projects to help young people aged 11 to 25 to explore their heritage, from green spaces, museums, and historic sites to language, local memories and youth culture.
Our Heritage grants are from £10,000–£100,000 and can be for larger projects that will make a lasting difference for heritage, people and communities in the UK.
